My name is Donna Siebenthaler, and I am an upper school history teacher at a private K-12 school in Montgomery, AL, although I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.  I teach Advanced Placement United States history, Advanced Placement European history, and college preparatory government.  My school is currently rolling out a 1:1 MacAir laptop program, and this blog is in part a place for me to explore what it means to be an effective teacher in such an environment.  This blog, however, is about more than technology.  It’s about everything that has to do with education in and out of the K-12 classroom, despite how grand that sounds.  When I’m not teaching or thinking about teaching, I love to read, write, travel, and spend time with friends and family.  Please feel free to comment or ask questions about the posts you read here.  I welcome your input.
